SHEQ Compliance Officer

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SHEQ Officer with a strong background in the food industry to join a leading national organisation within the supply chain sector. This role is ideal for a quality-driven professional who is passionate about ensuring compliance, maintaining rigorous food safety standards, and promoting a strong culture of health, safety, and environmental responsibility across operations.

Requirements

  • 2– 3 years’ experience in the Food industry
  • Some QSR/Fast food exposure an advantage
  • Diploma in Food Technology and Safety Management
  • Intermediate Computer literacy MS Office – Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of FSSC 22000, ISO 9001, HACCP, and ISO 45001
  • Knowledge on SAMTRAC/ Safety
  • Computer Literacy: intermediate to advance skills in MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, PowerBI

Key Responsibilities:

  • To ensure the ongoing implementation, evaluation, control, and maintenance of various Quality, Health and Safety standards within the company.
  • To ensure adherence to the audit schedule while conducting internal and external SHEQ audits.
  • Ensuring continuous improvement throughout the business by implementing policies, ensuringadherence to business procedures and improve quality, health and safety and food safety services.
