Our multinational client in the medical device sector is looking for a hands-on professional to manage their Johannesburg site and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. This role is ideal for someone with strong organisational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee office facilities and critical systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, IT, safety).
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain a safe and compliant environment.
- Manage outsourced warehouses and ensure accurate inventory, stock planning, and timely ordering.
- Oversee company fleet administration, including maintenance and insurance coordination.
- Lead and support the Customer Service team, including training and performance management.
- Act as Health & Safety representative, ensuring compliance with legislation.
- Support operational processes to meet quality standards and assist in broader operational planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in operations/ facilities/ logistics in the medical device industry (renal care experience preferred).
- Experience with import/export procedures in South Africa.
- Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of health & safety regulations.
