We’re Hiring – Boilermaker / Workshop Supervisor
Location: Pinetown, KwaZulu-Natal

Company: Jikelele Trailers

We are seeking a skilled Boilermaker who can also take on the responsibility of running our trailer manufacturing workshop.

✅ Key Responsibilities

Fabrication & Welding
Cutting, reading technical drawings, and building custom trailers.
Tanker fabrication – welding, cutting, rolling, and bending steel for diesel, petrol, and water tanks and Customer Trailers
Welding, grinding, and assembling trailers to factory quality standards.
Workshop Management
Oversee daily workshop operations and staff.
Allocate work via job cards and ensure deadlines are met.
Manage allocation of spares and stock.
Quality control on completed trailers.
Administration & Reporting
Keep workshop paperwork up to date.
Track materials, consumables, and ensure efficient stock usage
Report progress and challenges to management.
Health & Safety
Ensure the workshop complies with safety standards.

Train and monitor staff on safe equipment use.

 Requirements

Qualified Boilermaker / Fabricator with hands-on trailer building experience.
Proven experience in tanker welding, cutting, rolling, and bending steel.
Ability to Draw, read and interpret technical drawings.
At least 3–5 years experience in a similar role.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Computer literacy for handling basic workshop paperwork.

Must have a Drivers Licence
